More and more people are asking us to add videos to their websites. They also want videos uploaded to YouTube. As videographers, we write, cast, direct and shoot, and edit all our videos in full HD, (high definition). This gives us a high quality product for whatever the intended use, online or DVD. All of our YouTube videos are in HD.
We do not assemble videos from a series of still photos. That would be a slide show. The beauty of video is movement. We seek out the best of each subject in order to tell the story. Here is a sampling of our web designs which incorporate videos.
When Kevin McCarthy decided to strike out in a new direction from his traditional western sculpture, he chose for his theme, modern dance. This required a new website and we felt that video was the best way to present three dimensional pieces. There are five videos on the site including the little teaser on the splash page.
Nick BlaisdellAnother Durango artist-at-work opening with an intimate introduction to Nick's work. The pots speak for themselves and no amount of embellishment could improve on that. We simply shoot them with respect.
This Durango ranch was specifically designed for breeding horses. The amenities are so numerous, even a video can only scratch the surface. There are four videos on this site: The short intro on the splash page, A five minute tour of the ranch and residence on the "Concept" page. There's a video about the Durango area, and our favorite on the Contact page, which is only eight seconds long. An extended version of both videos was combined to make an 18 minute DVD for prospective buyers. Video is a powerful tool for presenting real estate.
Jeff SolonBecause Jeff is a musician, it made sense to set up some audio jukeboxes on his website. Then he invited us to film in the recording studio. This resulted in three videos. The fourth one is an abstract presentation of his eight piece swing band. It was assembled from footage shot during a live performance.
Born Lake RanchA beautiful property with a sub-alpine private lake. This video production makes extensive use of people enjoying the property, and local wildlife which shares the land. There is a second video under "Surrounding Area" that explores the nearby areas of Pagosa Springs and Durango, Colorado.
Karyn Gabaldon Fine ArtsThis full ecommerce site features a short video on the home page of Karyn working in her studio, then a delightful journey through some of her work. The PayPal store allows users to order prints right on the website.
Cinnamon Ridge RanchThis unspoiled river property is hard to capture in stills. The resident horses and the imported fly fisherman both serve to bring this ranch to life. Shot in the autumn of 2010, the video delivers the full beauty of the land at the most spectacular time of year.
Vis a VisThis Durango skin care salon website opens with a short video about the experience of receiving a facial. The music was chosen to complete the feeling of relaxation.
Sabrina Motta Fine ArtA young Durango artist with a unique style. Faced with a stack of canvases, we chose to get close and concentrate on the detail of her style as a way of exploring her work.
